LGBTQ+ affirming care

One of several areas of focus throughout my professional career as a practitioner, educator, and researcher has been within the area of gender and sexuality. As an individual who identifies with the LGBTQ+ community I seek to offer therapy services that honor the complexity of navigating ones gender and sexuality in conjunction with other identities we hold such as race/ethnicity, spiritual affiliation, ability status, SES, nationality, and more. Examples of concerns in this area have included but are not limited to: questioning ones gender or sexual orientation, navigating coming out and being out in different social spaces, internalized stigma related to identity, gender dysphoria, transitioning, sexual functioning issues, queer dating, and difficulties related to discrimination and/or harassment based on identity. I work from a sex and body positive lens and am kink/BDSM/poly friendly.
